Today I visited the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art in Santa Fe. While  at the Museum, I was lucky enough to participate in a Colcha Embroidery class, where I was introduced to this way of stitching developed during the Spanish colonial period. This group of women  meet once a month to share their creations with each other, keeping alive this tradition.
