My husband alerted me to the article written in The Spectrum (St. George, UT) about your journey as I was out of town at the time. I wish I had known sooner about your coming along the trail, and especially in the St. George area where we live. There are two really good markers east of St. George for the Dominguez-Escalante Expedition that overlook a great valley. You can imagine their thoughts while looking out to the south desert. I am a direct descendant of the map-maker, Bernardo Miera y Pacheco, and have done a lot of research about that expedition. Good luck in your travels.
